The exact date of the birth of Kallman is still unknown. There is some information that he was born in 1965, while others claimed that it was 1966. He was born in Manhattan, New York, USA. In 1987, Kallman founded his own independent record label, Big Beat Records. The first label artist is Taravhonty. Four years later, Atlantic Records bought Big Beat Records. Some Big Beat artists including Lil ‘Kim, Robin S., Junio Mafia, Jay Williams, Double X Posse, Jomanda, DJ Quad City, Artifacts, and Internal Circles. Thank you to Kallman, many great artists were signed by Atlantic Records. That includes Aaliyah, Brandy, Timbaland, and P.O.D. In 2002, Kallman became a co-president label, and three years later, he was appointed as Chairman and CEO of Atlantic Records Group.
