It’s finally time for the Galaxy Note to go

Writing on the wall for the Galaxy Note has been rumored for many years now, even before we reach the point that there will be a decent substitute for it. However, that day never came almost happening, at least it wasn’t until that day there was no Galaxy Note phone for a year. Given how things move on the land of Samsung, it might actually be a high time to retire a respectable brand, if it only gives a better Samsung drive to really encourage pen technology and the ecosystem forward.

Raison d’Etrre.

Samsung always plays Galaxy Note as a professional friend, a tool for productivity and serious work. It is a picture that is made back on the day when smartphones are mostly seen as a recreational product to surf the web, use social media, and portable entertainment. Of course, these days, smartphones are used for almost all things, including activities related to work, that the Galaxy Note target audience now seems to be “everyone.”

However, at a technical level, the Galaxy Note is also defined by several hardware features. Apart from S Pen, Note Galaxy is also credited and blamed for starting a phablet trend has a large screen. It will often include new or experimental features that will be included in the Flagship Galaxy S next year after being tested in the real world.

None of these reasons held back the water today in the world where a small phone became almost extinct. Of course, Stylus remains the remaining part of the Galaxy Note DNA that has not been replicated, at least until the Galaxy S22 next year. When inevitable changes occur, it really curtains for galaxy records.

Stylus Standard.

To be fair, this year’s Ultra Galaxy S21 has supported S Pen, although in addition and external accessories. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 also makes new and incompatible pens into the selling point of the third iteration of Samsung folding devices. Even so, this consensus is that this is not the replacement of the galaxy note you are looking for.

The biggest factor that holds both of those who are considered as the successor to the Galaxy Note derivative is that the pen is an optional accessory and additional costs. They are not only afterthough, consider the design and techniques entered by Samsung to the Digitizer Galaxy Z fold 3, but people feel the opposite because the company does not make it comfortable to bring a stylus along with a folded telephone together. As long as it doesn’t come as part of the package, including the case design, the pen will continue to be something that Samsung can be discarded at certain times.

Galaxy S22 Ultra can change it with a silo for a pen, and the change sends a very strong message. It is said that the pen is now part of the Galaxy S DNA, that it is the core feature of the cellphone than the addon. Some people might not like it and may not appreciate the additional costs they carry, but send a signal to everyone that the pen s is finally aged and has become the superior feature of Samsung standards.

Return to fold

Make s pen features of the Galaxy S22 standard, even if the ultra model is more expensive, it can also mark the new start to the stylus itself and the ecosystem surrounding it. Set Samsung continues through the Galaxy S iteration in the future, it will make the pen core part of the Samsung experience, both on smartphones, tablets, or even folding. Hopefully this will provide the Samsung drive needed to encourage technology going forward beyond what has been supported.

There must be plenty of space for improvement, especially when it comes to supporting folding phones. The success of Apple’s pencil must have changed a little game, making it an important part of the company’s message, especially when it comes to iPad. Just like the original Galaxy Note, Samsung has the opportunity to define and form this niche market, but only if it makes a default feature pen than EXT.
