MacOS Monterey does not have the most elegant launch for some users. According to 9to5mac, Apple told YouTuber Rene Ritchie, it fixed the firmware problem that prevents several Macs with T2 security chips from the start. New updates that install Monterey will now get firmware updated next to the OS. T2 chips are in most Macs released between 2018 and 2020.
Apple does not say which system is most likely affected. However, he said only “a very small amount” experiencing problems.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to recover if your Mac is tore as a result of updates. If you experience problems, you must contact Apple’s technical support. It is not clear whether you have to send your Mac to service, but it is safe to assume this can manage your Monterey experience. As usual because OS launch bugs, they are rarely serious.
